A warm welcome to the Once In A Blue Moon Dance, where women get together for fun and dancing the second Saturday of the month (scroll down for schedule), from 7 PM to midnight at the DanceMasters Ballroom located at 10675 East Northwest Highway, Suite 2600B, Dallas, TX.
The music, by DJ Gloria McDonald, is an eclectic mix of Top 40, Country, and Disco. The dress is casual to feather boas.
The Blue Moon Dance is a social gathering for women only, nothing like the bar scene, in a non-smoking atmosphere. Average attendance is approximately a hundred women per dance. Do not know how to dance? That is not a problem; patrons will be more than willing to take you for a spin around the floor. Alternatively, if you prefer to just sit back and engage in conversation you can do that too.
Admission is $10 at the door (except New Year's Eve $ TBA - and special events, pricing TBA). Sodas, bottled water and coffee are sold at $1 each. Should you wish to drink something a little stronger it is BYOB (Texas Law requires we check your ID, you must be 21 years or older to attend).

New Years Eve, Monday, December 31st, 8:00 to 1:00am. Admission $25.00 person, contact us for reservations. DJ Gloria McDonald plays country and classic dance music.
Bring your favorite wine, beer or liquor. Our friendly bartender will supply
coke, diet coke, 7up, bottled water and coffee for $1 per set up.
Free Champagne Toast at midnight.
Free Hors d'oeuvres.
For Women Only.
Dress is formal to casual.
Non Smoking Atmosphere.

Please have the first and last name of everyone in your party as you make reservations, so we can be sure to have a seat for everyone. Even if you are reserving an entire table, we will still need full names. This is a sell out event so make your reservations as early as possible. $25.00 per person cover charge payable upon your arrival (cash only).

It's true, the end of an era has come; The Blue Moon will hold its last dance on New Years Eve 2012.
We have been together for twelve and a half years through relationships, illnesses, deaths, times of plenty and times of lack. We laughed, cried, danced and celebrated together. We two stepped, waltzed and dirty danced our way into each others hearts. We created memories we will cherish.
I want to thank everyone who ever came to the dance, whether you came once or every time, the people who donated extra money to keep the dance going when it was slow and all the people who stood by me every month to set up and break down for a giving me a love I will never forget.
It has been for a reason, a season and a time of love and friendship.
I love you all and hope to see you New Years Eve to celebrate the end of one era and the beginning of another.
